Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan is an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative activities, including talks to increase the limit on federal loans and the Super Committee deliberations. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision concerning Obamacare and the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. She provided feature stories and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. She previously worked with NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband and their two kids.
