Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's winning presidential election coverage from 2012. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional activities, like discussions on raising the debt ceiling of the US and the super committee's discussions. As an assignment reporter for general assignments she covered news such as that of the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and also the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a correspondent national with CNN Newsource. As a correspondent for the national network, she provided breaking news coverage and feature news for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Prior to that, she worked as an anchor on NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She lives with her family within New York City.
