Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer-songwriter actress. Taylor Momsen is an American songwriter, singer, model and actress of St. Louis, Missouri. The most famous of her roles is Jenny Humphrey in the CW show Gossip Girl. Momsen has had her songs played in a variety of films and television programs like How to Be single Going to the Limit and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, is the daughter of an older sister Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. She began acting professionally when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen suffered a career break lasting more than three years, before she was cast as the protagonist in Misconceptions which is a WB TV series. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh, a 2006 movie. Momsen was also considered for auditioning to play the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the title role went to Miley Cyrus.
