Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American actress, singer, songwriter and model born in St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. she is the sister of Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. Taylor Momsen attended the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. She began acting professionally at the age of three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's career slowed to slow halt for three years, until she was given a lead role in Misconceptions, a WB production Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared at the time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Momsen auditioned as well for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the title role went to Miley Cyrus.
