Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. She is the star of Disney program Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. Selena Marie Gomez, her full name is. So she was one of many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena was involved in several episodes in season 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. As a fun fact: Selena isn't the only performer to have appeared in Barney and the Friends in this time period. Demi Lovato was also part of the team that starred in the series. After the show ended, Selena Gomez auditioned for several parts in different programs and films but was not very successful. There was a small role as a character in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003 and another as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. The character as Emily Grace Garcia was assigned to her in 2006's Brain Zapped, for which she composed a soundtrack.
